Joan Laporta is set to become Barcelona presidential after triumphing in Sunday’s election.
With 80% of votes counted, Laporta has secured close to 58 per cent of the vote, comfortably beating rivals Victor Font (31 pet cent) and Toni Freixa (10 per cent).
