Inter boss Simone Inzaghi has announced that goalkeeper Andre Onana will be included in the pre-season training, despite negotiations with Manchester United regarding a potential deal.
- Inter Milan are prepared to sell goalkeeper Andre Onana. The Italian club is seeking £51 million for the Cameroonian player. Manchester United have already negotiated the terms with the player.
Onana has been linked with a move to Old Trafford for the past few weeks, and talks are said to be at an advanced stage. However, a deal has not yet been confirmed. Inzaghi plans to include Onana in pre-season training.
According to Inzaghi, an Inter player, the player in question will be called up for pre-season. Inzaghi acknowledges the unpredictability of the transfer window and the fact that Italian clubs need to sell before they can buy.
Inter’s manager acknowledges the risk but expresses calmness as the club and owners have assured him that Inter will be competitive this year.
According to reports, Andre Onana might continue playing at San Siro for another season as Inter is said to be requesting around €60m (£51m/$67m) for his transfer, a sum that Manchester United hasn’t yet matched.
Onana, the Cameroonian goalkeeper, has reportedly reached an agreement with United. However, the deal is pending as the two clubs work towards its completion.
