Busquets, after a successful 18-year stint at Barcelona, has left the club and will now join Lionel Messi at the DRV PNK Stadium.
David Beckham, the 35-year-old midfielder, expressed his enthusiasm for joining Inter Miami as one of their designated players. He described it as a special and exciting opportunity and expressed his readiness to represent the club. Beckham had been impressed by the club during his visit with Barcelona last year and is eager to contribute to their ambitious goals.
Inter Miami has enthusiastically announced the signing of Sergio Busquets as the team’s latest addition. According to Jorge Mas, the managing owner, the club’s aim has always been to attract top-tier players, and Busquets’ impressive track record makes him a valuable asset to Inter Miami.
Busquets, who achieved great success with Barcelona alongside Messi, may reunite with former Barcelona stars at MLS club Miami, coached by Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino. Alba, Iniesta, and Suarez are also rumored to join the team.
Busquets and Messi will make their debuts for Inter Miami in a Leagues Cup clash with Cruz Azul on July 21. Inter Miami is currently struggling in the Eastern Conference, without a win in their last 11 matches.
