De Gea, the goalkeeper for Manchester United, recently left the team after 12 seasons and 545 appearances, making him the goalkeeper with the most appearances in the club’s history.
The Spaniard broke Peter Schmeichel’s United record for clean sheets last season, accumulating a total of 190 shut-outs in all competitions.
The 32-year-old achieved success in Manchester, winning five major trophies including the Premier League in 2013 and the Europa League in 2017.
