Djorde Petrovic: Chelsea agree £14m deal to sign New England Revolution goalkeeper

Chelsea is reportedly finalizing a deal to sign a Serbian goalkeeper for a fee of £12.5m, with potential add-ons of £1.5m. This would bring their total spending in the summer transfer window to around £350m. Meanwhile, negotiations with Fulham regarding the potential sale of Callum Hudson-Odoi have hit a roadblock.

Chelsea have reached an agreement with New England Revolution to acquire goalkeeper Djorde Petrovic for a reported fee of approximately £14m.

Chelsea will pay £12.5m upfront with an additional £1.5m in performance-related add-ons.

Chelsea is expected to sign 23-year-old goalkeeper Petrovic, who is set to join Robert Sanchez at Stamford Bridge.

New England Revolution’s Serbian goalkeeper has impressed with seven clean sheets in 22 MLS games this season.

Chelsea have made significant investments this summer, signing eight players for around £350m.

Fulham talks for Hudson-Odoi falter

Talks between Fulham and Chelsea regarding the signing of Callum Hudson-Odoi have halted.

There is a disagreement between the clubs regarding the fee, causing Fulham to consider alternative options. Additionally, it seems that Hudson-Odoi is in the final year of his contract at Chelsea and is not part of Mauricio Pochettino’s plans.
