Tottenham: Ansu Fati, Brennan Johnson and Johan Bakayoko – Spurs step up search to replace Harry Kane

Tottenham Hotspur are actively searching for a new forward following Harry Kane’s departure. Ansu Fati from Barcelona, Brennan Johnson from Nottingham Forest, and Johan Bakayoko from PSV Eindhoven are among the players being considered. Before making any new signings, the club needs to reduce the size of their squad.

Tottenham is interested in securing a loan deal for Barcelona’s Ansu Fati, while also considering Nottingham Forest’s Brennan Johnson and PSV Eindhoven’s Johan Bakayoko as potential signings.

Tottenham Hotspur is actively pursuing three potential forward signings and will evaluate their options before the transfer window closes on Friday.

The club is currently focused on reducing their squad size as they have more players than the Premier League requires.

Considerations and obstacles exist for all three potential deals for a new versatile forward.

Brennan Johnson is a top target for the team, although they have to consider the significant cost of over £40m for a player who may not immediately secure a spot in the starting lineup.

Barcelona would consider loaning Fati to another club only if his wages are fully covered and they value him at around £30m for a permanent deal, considering Financial Fair Play regulations.

PSV may consider keeping Bakayoko if they qualify for the Champions League group stages by defeating Rangers in the play-off second-leg.

There is competition from Brentford for Johnson and Bakayoko, and Fati has been offered to Chelsea.

Spurs are looking to offload several players, with Manchester United, Genoa, Torino, and Rennes showing interest in acquiring Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Tanguy Ndombele, Japhet Tanganga, and Davinson Sanchez respectively.

Eric Dier offered to Bayern Munich, Sergio Reguilon attracting interest from other clubs, uncertainty surrounds Hugo Lloris’ future.
