Jadon Sancho: Man Utd winger training away from first team over ‘squad discipline issue’

Jadon Sancho, the Manchester United winger, is currently training separately from the first team due to a disciplinary issue. He was dropped from the squad for their game against Arsenal on September 3, with his exclusion being attributed to his training performances. Sancho has expressed feeling like a “scapegoat” in this situation.

Erik ten Hag requires an apology from Jadon Sancho regarding his social media post before allowing him to rejoin first-team training.

United’s Jadon Sancho is undergoing a personal training program due to a squad discipline issue.

Sancho was excluded from Manchester United’s squad for their match against Arsenal due to poor training performances, as explained by manager Ten Hag.

The 23-year-old individual refuted claims made by Ten Hag, stating that they had been unfairly blamed for a while. This response was shared through a social media post.

Sancho was linked with a move to Saudi Arabia on loan but ultimately stayed at Old Trafford following an online outburst. Talks between him and the coaching staff are planned for this week.

The post was deleted on Tuesday after receiving over 60 million views.

Sancho has previously been excluded from United training under Ten Hag and underwent an individual fitness program in the Netherlands last season.

Sancho had a period of absence from Manchester United between October 22 and February 1. However, upon his return, he played in the Carabao Cup final victory over Newcastle. Overall, he contributed seven goals and three assists for United last season.

Sancho’s absence from the team raises concerns about the lack of options in the right-wing position. Antony has delayed his return to training due to allegations of assault, resulting in him being placed on a leave of absence with full pay, but he is not suspended.

The Manchester United team has limited options for wide players in their upcoming game against Brighton, with only Alejandro Garnacho and Facundo Pellistri available alongside Marcus Rashford.
