Paul Pogba training alone in Cristiano Ronaldo’s old villa as Juventus midfielder awaits counter-analysis on positive doping test

Paul Pogba from Juventus is training alone at a villa previously owned by Cristiano Ronaldo while he awaits a final decision in his doping case.

France’s World Cup-winning football player is currently spending time in both Turin and Paris. He recently received a positive result for testosterone during a drug test and has been temporarily suspended by the Anti-Doping Tribunal in Italy. He will have to wait until October 5th to receive the results of the counter-analysis on the second sample he provided in August 20th.

Pogba last spoke with Juventus staff on September 11. He had a meeting with the medical team and management. Pogba has been dealing with an injury, and as a result, his salary has been reduced to €40,000 per year. This is the minimum allowed in his contract. If Pogba’s B sample doesn’t clear him, a new investigation will start regarding the supplements he bought based on advice from an American doctor.

Paul Pogba is currently in Italy, but he cannot join his Juventus teammates for training. Instead, he is staying at a villa in the Turin hills, previously owned by Ronaldo. There, he has all the necessary facilities, such as a gym, indoor pool, and outdoor pitch, where he can work out on his own.

Pogba is still being watched closely by his team and staff at Juventus. Rabiot, who is a close friend of Pogba, mentioned that they stay in touch and he hears from Pogba almost every day.
