Carabao Cup fourth-round draw: Manchester United host Newcastle | Arsenal to play West Ham | Liverpool face Bournemouth trip

Manchester United will play against Newcastle, while Arsenal will have a London derby against West Ham. Liverpool will travel to Bournemouth, and Chelsea will face Blackburn at home. The fourth-round matches will take place during the week of October 30th.

Manchester United will face Newcastle in the Carabao Cup fourth-round. This match is a rematch of last season’s final. Manchester United, who are the current holders, have been fortunate to have 12 consecutive home cup ties.

Newcastle, beaten 2-0 by United in last season’s final, secured their progression after Alexander Isak’s second-half effort at St James’ Park sank eight-time winners Manchester City.

Manchester United’s recent draw at home in a domestic cup competition was their 12th in a row. This impressive streak is believed to be a new record in British football history.

Liverpool will play at Bournemouth in the fourth round after they came back to win 3-1 against Leicester at Anfield.

Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo scored an equalizer in the second half following an early lead by Leicester’s Kasey McAteer. Dominik Szoboszlai and Jota added more goals, securing Liverpool’s victory and advancing them to the next round.

West Ham won against Lincoln in the League One match at Sincil Bank. Tomas Soucek scored the only goal in the second half. In the next round, West Ham will face Arsenal at their home ground.

Chelsea drew with Blackburn with a 1-0 home win against Brighton.

Blackburn defeated Cardiff 5-2 with Andrew Moran scoring twice in the second half. Jake Garrett scored first for Blackburn, but Callum Robinson equalized for Cardiff. Arnor Sigurdsson gave Blackburn the lead again, but Kion Etete leveled the score before halftime. Moran’s two goals in the second half put Blackburn in control, along with Dilan Markanday’s goal as they secured a convincing victory.

Everton will face Burnley at home in the last 16 after winning 2-1 against Aston Villa.

Everton scored two goals, with James Garner and Dominic Calvert-Lewin finding the back of the net. Aston Villa managed to score one goal through Boubacar Kamara.

Fulham will play against Ipswich, who are doing well in the Championship, after their 2-1 victory over Norwich.

Fulham scored goals in the first and second half through Carlos Vinicius and Alex Iwobi respectively. Norwich’s Borja Sainz scored a goal to reduce the deficit.

Mansfield, a League Two team, will face Port Vale, a League One team, in the quarter-finals.

Exeter, from League One, will play against Middlesbrough at home to secure a spot in the last eight.
