As the world’s number one ranked player, Korda’s achievement of winning four straight tournaments is a historic feat, unmatched since Mexico’s Lorena Ochoa accomplished the same in 2008. Reflecting on her extraordinary performance, Korda expressed her disbelief, stating, “I can’t even wrap my head around it.” She described the past three weeks as a whirlwind, indicating that she was constantly in go-mode.
Despite Maguire’s resilience in claiming the 13th and 14th holes, Korda maintained her composure and secured victory with a par win on the 15th.
