Miami GP: Ferrari Unveils New ‘Blue’ Car for Leclerc and Sainz

Ferrari’s unveiling of a new “blue” car livery for the upcoming Miami Grand Prix has stirred up considerable excitement among Formula 1 enthusiasts. This striking change in color scheme, signals a fresh and visually captivating chapter for the team.

Drivers Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc are poised to showcase their driving prowess, aiming to challenge Red Bull for victory in the much-anticipated Sprint weekend. While the iconic red hue will still dominate the car, the introduction of new colors adds an intriguing dimension to Ferrari’s appearance on the track.

Notably, both Sainz and Leclerc will sport blue overalls, a nod to Ferrari’s rich heritage. By incorporating shades such as Azzurro La Plata and Azzurro Dino, which hold significant historical relevance for the team, Ferrari is embracing its past while propelling itself into an exciting new era.

Adding to the buzz surrounding Ferrari, the team recently announced a landmark multi-year title sponsorship deal with American technology giant HP, further amplifying the anticipation for the upcoming race weekend.

“The upcoming Miami Grand Prix will be one to remember in the history of our team, as in Florida we will be celebrating our heritage through a unique livery, rediscovering two colours that are part of our history,” said team principal Frederic Vasseur.

“It will also be a very special race as we are glad to welcome the arrival of our new title partner HP.

“Scuderia Ferrari and HP share many values, including a winning mentality and a clear line of thought that forms the basis of our partnership. Our two companies always strive for excellence and embrace technological innovation, key elements in achieving our respective goals.

“Like us, HP believes in the importance of ensuring that everyone in its organisation can give of their best, as that’s the only way to get great results. In addition, we believe in the need to nurture talent, teaching and empowering people as exemplified by our Driver Academy.

“With so many things in common, we believe that HP’s title partnership will greatly benefit both marques and I can’t wait for us to start working together from this weekend.”

Currently occupying second place in the constructors’ championship, Ferrari finds itself trailing Red Bull by 44 points after five events. The team’s standout performance at the Australian Grand Prix, where Sainz clinched victory, underscores their potential to shake up the competition and narrow the gap in the standings.

Despite facing a setback due to appendicitis surgery, Sainz has displayed remarkable skill, holding the fourth position in the drivers’ standings, just seven points behind his teammate Leclerc. As the stage is set for the Miami Grand Prix, all eyes will be on Ferrari as they strive to build on their recent successes and continue their impressive momentum in the world of Formula 1.
