The Estonian’s Wimbledon debut was notable not only for his performance on the court but also for his distinctive dreadlocks fashioned into a pineapple-style ponytail. Despite his spirited effort, Alcaraz’s skill and experience allowed him to overcome the challenges posed by his opponent and secure a decisive win.

In a separate match, fifth seed Daniil Medvedev displayed confidence and skill as he progressed to the second round with a comprehensive 6-3 6-4 6-2 triumph over American Aleksandar Kovacevic on Court One.
