Alvaro Morata has signed his contract as new AC Milan player on four year deal until June 2028

AC Milan have made a significant addition to their squad by signing Spain forward Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid on a four-year contract, with an option for a further 12 months. The Serie A side activated Morata’s release clause, which was reportedly around £11m, to secure his services.

Known for his experience and goal-scoring ability, the 31-year-old recently led Spain to victory in Euro 2024, showcasing his leadership and skill on the international stage. Morata began his professional career with Real Madrid and has also plied his trade for clubs like Juventus and Chelsea, amassing a wealth of experience across top European leagues.

With two Champions League titles during his time at Real Madrid and two Serie A triumphs with Juventus, Morata brings a winning mentality and a strong track record of success to AC Milan. His time at Chelsea also saw him lift the prestigious FA Cup, further underlining his ability to perform at the highest levels of the game.

A prolific scorer for the Spanish national team, Morata has netted 36 goals in 80 appearances, consistently demonstrating his prowess in front of goal. AC Milan will be hoping that Morata’s arrival adds a potent edge to their attack as they seek to make an impact in both domestic and European competitions in the upcoming seasons.
