West Ham Negotiating Potential Acquisition of Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United

West Ham are currently engaged in negotiations with Manchester United regarding the potential acquisition of right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The club is aiming to secure a deal at a valuation that aligns with their expectations, as United’s initial asking price reportedly exceeds £15 million. As Wan-Bissaka approaches the final year of his contract with United, he is considering various options for his future. Meanwhile, discussions between United and Bayern Munich concerning right-back Noussair Mazraoui — a player previously of interest to West Ham — seem to be making progress.

In addition to the pursuit of Wan-Bissaka, West Ham continues to express interest in securing the services of Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran. However, reaching an agreement for the Colombian forward has proven challenging due to discrepancies in valuation. Consequently, West Ham is exploring alternative options to bolster their squad.

While a previous proposal involving cash and midfielder Lewis Orford seemed promising, it appears that this arrangement is no longer on the table. Reports suggest that Orford is currently in discussions for a new contract, potentially indicating a change of plans for West Ham. The club has also been monitoring the situations of Villarreal forward Alexander Sorloth, formerly of Crystal Palace, and Girona’s Artem Dovbyk, as part of their ongoing efforts to strengthen the team’s attacking options.
