Leny Yoro will be sidelined for three months due to a foot injury while Rasmus Hojlund is expected to face a six-week absence

Manchester United’s new signing Leny Yoro, who was forced off injured during the pre-season friendly against Arsenal in Los Angeles last weekend, has been ruled out for around three months with a foot injury. Yoro, an 18-year-old defender, signed for United this summer in a deal that could be worth up to £58.9m and has committed to a five-year contract at Old Trafford. The young talent limped off in the 35th minute of the friendly after receiving lengthy treatment and was subsequently spotted using crutches and wearing a protective boot.

Meanwhile, Rasmus Hojlund, another player for Manchester United, will miss six weeks after pulling his hamstring. Hojlund, who scored against Arsenal, had to leave the match in the 16th minute and will also be sidelined at the start of the season. It’s a challenging setback for the team as they prepare for the upcoming season.

Yoro’s injury comes as a blow for both the player and the club, as they had high hopes for his contribution to the team following his significant transfer from Lille. Despite the setback, Yoro has chosen to remain with the squad on tour, and further assessment of his injury will be carried out upon his return to the UK. The team and fans alike will be eagerly anticipating his recovery and return to the pitch.
