OFFICIAL: Tottenham sign winger Wilson Odobert from Burnley

Tottenham Hotspur has successfully secured the signing of the talented young winger, Wilson Odobert, from Burnley. The 19-year-old player has agreed to a deal that extends until 2029 and is set to don the number 28 shirt for the club.

Odobert, who represents France at the Under-21 level, made the move to Burnley last summer and went on to make 34 appearances for the club across various competitions, demonstrating his skills by finding the back of the net five times.

Notably, the young winger made history as the youngest ever Premier League goalscorer for Burnley, showcasing his potential with a goal in a match against Chelsea, despite the team ultimately facing a 4-1 defeat in October 2023.

Prior to his time with Burnley, Odobert honed his abilities within the renowned Paris St-Germain academy before making a move to Troyes in July 2022. During his tenure at Troyes, he showcased his prowess by netting four goals in 32 appearances, further solidifying his potential as a promising talent in the world of football.

As Spurs prepare to embark on their upcoming Premier League campaign, commencing with an away fixture against Leicester City on Monday, the addition of Wilson Odobert to their roster presents an exciting prospect for the club’s supporters, who eagerly anticipate witnessing the young winger’s contributions to the team’s success in the years to come.
