Fulham has made a bid to Burnley for Manchester United target Sander Berge

Fulham have indeed made an offer for Burnley’s Sander Berge, who has also been a target for Manchester United in the current transfer window. The bid from Fulham amounts to around £20m plus add-ons, signaling their strong interest in adding the talented midfielder to their squad. Marco Silva’s side is keen on bolstering their midfield options and has shown persistence in their pursuit of Berge.

Meanwhile, Manchester United’s pursuit of Scott McTominay has garnered attention as well. Despite Fulham’s attempts to secure McTominay with bids worth £20m, United have maintained their stance, indicating that they are happy for McTominay to stay unless he expresses a desire to leave and a suitable offer is presented. It’s evident that United are exploring various potential scenarios to strengthen their midfield, with Napoli also expressing interest in McTominay.

As for potential new recruits, talks are ongoing with Paris Saint-Germain for the signing of Manuel Ugarte. Although there is still a gap in valuation, United is committed to staying patient as Ugarte is eager to join, and there is a sense that PSG is also inclined to reach an agreement. Furthermore, United is actively engaging with Burnley for Sander Berge and with Fiorentina for Sofyan Amrabat, indicating the club’s multi-pronged approach in the transfer market.

With these developments in mind, it’s clear that the transfer window remains an active and dynamic period for all parties involved, as negotiations, interests, and possibilities continue to unfold in the pursuit of bolstering and refining squad compositions for the upcoming season.
