“The family asks for respect for their wish to mourn in private and not be contacted.

In the face of his health struggles, Eriksson continued to display his passion for the game, fulfilling his lifelong dream by leading out the Liverpool Legends for a charity match against Ajax at Anfield. This poignant moment brought him immense joy, describing it as “absolutely beautiful” and a “huge memory” in his life.
