Marmoush’s desire to join Manchester City is fueled by the knowledge that he is Pep Guardiola’s top target for this transfer window. Despite the hefty price tag, both City and Marmoush’s representatives believe that a more realistic transfer fee could be in the range of £42m to £50m (€50m to €60m). They anticipate that any initial offers significantly below this figure will be dismissed by Eintracht Frankfurt, who are keen to maximize their return for a player who has been pivotal to their campaign this season.
