Hakimi’s journey began in Madrid, where he joined the Real Madrid youth academy at the tender age of seven in 2006. By 2015, he was contributing to the club’s U19 team in the UEFA Youth League, where he participated in 16 matches and scored once. His impressive performances earned him a spot in the Real Madrid Castilla squad for the 2016-2017 season, competing in the Spanish third division where he tallied 28 appearances and one goal.
Achraf’s talents shone through when he made his first-team debut just a year later.
