Liverpool have announced an exciting and lucrative multi-year kit deal with adidas as their contract with Nike approaches its conclusion. This partnership marks a significant moment for the club, as they will be donning the iconic ‘Three Stripes’ from August 1, 2025.
The announcement, made on a Monday, revealed that adidas will pay Liverpool an impressive £60 million ($74 million) per season. This deal positions Liverpool among the elite earners in terms of kit supply contracts, ensuring they remain competitive with other powerhouse clubs in the Premier League. The club has a storied history with adidas, having partnered with the German sportswear giant twice before, first between 1985 and 1996 and then again from 2006 to 2012.
In reflecting on the partnership, Liverpool CEO Billy Hogan expressed tremendous excitement about the return of adidas to the LFC family. He highlighted the fantastic success that the two organizations enjoyed in the past and noted the creation of some of the most iconic Liverpool kits of all time. “Everyone at the club is incredibly excited to welcome adidas back into the LFC family. We have enjoyed fantastic success together in the past and created some of the most iconic LFC kits of all time,” Hogan stated.

On the other side of this agreement, adidas CEO Bjorn Gulden shared his enthusiasm about teaming up with Liverpool Football Club once again. He acknowledged the club’s stature as one of the most iconic names in world football, boasting a vast and passionate fan base. “The jerseys worn during previous partnerships are some of the greatest ever created. We are honoured to once again provide the players with cutting-edge technology to perform at the highest level and are looking forward to creating more classics for the fans,” Gulden remarked.
As this partnership develops, it promises to elevate the club’s brand even further and enhance their on-pitch performance through innovative kit designs tailored for athletes. This new agreement will allow Liverpool to stand shoulder to shoulder with other Premier League giants. Currently, Arsenal, Manchester City, and Chelsea enjoy deals ranging from £60 million ($77 million) to £65 million ($84 million) per season. Manchester United currently leads the pack with a record-breaking £90 million ($116 million) agreement with adidas.
