U.S. President Donald Trump, in collaboration with FIFA President Gianni Infantino, recently announced that the draw for the 2026 FIFA World Cup will take place at the iconic Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. Scheduled for December 5 at noon ET, this significant event is sparking considerable excitement as it marks an important milestone in the lead-up to one of the largest sporting events in the world. While cities such as Monterrey and Vancouver were also in the running to host the draw, the historical connections leaders have with Las Vegas, which hosted the memorable 1994 FIFA draw featuring performances from iconic artists like Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder, and James Brown, could not ultimately sway the decision.
