Christopher Nkunku has officially joined AC Milan from Chelsea in a transfer deal worth €37 million, with an additional €5 million in potential add-ons and a sell-on clause included. The French international, who has shown remarkable talent and prowess on the field, has signed a five-year contract with the Serie A side, committing to the club until June 2030.

This significant move marks a notable chapter in Nkunku’s career, especially after his previous stint at Chelsea. The deal highlights the continuing trend of player movement in the football transfer market, bringing Chelsea’s total sales for the summer to an impressive £314 million. Nkunku, who joined the Blues from RB Leipzig in June 2023 for a fee of £52 million, made a substantial impact during his time in London, netting 18 goals in 62 appearances. His contributions were vital in helping Chelsea secure titles, including the Conference League and the Club World Cup.

Upon arriving in Italy on Thursday night, Nkunku wasted no time in beginning the required medical examinations to finalize the transfer. He attended tests at the La Madonnina Clinic in Milan before going through the necessary CONI examination, a standard procedure for all players joining the Serie A. Following these assessments, he officially signed his contract later that evening at the Casa Milan headquarters, marking the beginning of what many fans hope will be a successful era for him in Italian football.

As Nkunku embarks on this new adventure with AC Milan, anticipation builds around how his skills and experience will enhance the team’s performance in both domestic and European competitions. The club’s supporters are eager to see the kind of impact he can make on the pitch. Nyunku’s move symbolizes not only a new beginning for him but also AC Milan’s ambitions to strengthen their squad as they compete for top honors in Serie A and beyond.
