On Sunday, DK Metcalf of the Pittsburgh Steelers seemingly threw a punch at a fan as the team faced the Detroit Lions, putting the Lions on the verge of playoff elimination. Meanwhile, the Jacksonville Jaguars secured a significant victory against the Denver Broncos. In addition, Kenneth Gainwell made what could be considered the catch of the year during the Steelers’ win.

Pittsburgh Steelers 29-24 Detroit Lions
The Pittsburgh Steelers secured a 29-24 victory over the Detroit Lions, eliminating them from playoff contention. A final play touchdown by Jared Goff was overturned due to an offensive pass-interference penalty on Amon-Ra St. Brown. In the game, Jaylen Warren excelled with two 45-yard touchdown runs and a total of 143 rushing yards. The Lions also had two touchdowns nullified by penalties in the final minute, including a 1-yard pass from Goff to St. Brown due to interference by rookie Isaac TeSlaa.

Bryce Young led the Carolina Panthers to a 23-20 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, throwing for 191 yards and two touchdowns. Lathan Ransom’s interception of Baker Mayfield with 42 seconds remaining sealed the win, putting the Panthers in first place in the NFC South. The Panthers (8-7) can secure the division title next week with a victory over Seattle and a Buccaneers loss to Miami. If outcomes are mixed, the Panthers would need to win again against the Buccaneers in Week 18 to clinch their first division title since 2015. Tetairoa McMillan contributed significantly with six catches for 73 yards and a touchdown.
Las Vegas Raiders 21-23 Houston Texans
C.J. Stroud threw a touchdown pass and Derek Stingley scored after returning an interception as the Houston Texans defeated the Las Vegas Raiders 23-21, marking their seventh consecutive victory. Los Angeles Chargers 34-17 Dallas Cowboys

Henderson intercepted Jacoby Brissett to secure the win for Atlanta. Robinson’s performance included 92 receiving yards on seven catches and 76 rushing yards, making him the third player in franchise history to surpass 2,000 yards from scrimmage in a season.
Kansas City Chiefs 9-26 Tennessee Titans
Cam Ward passed for 228 yards and two touchdowns, leading the Tennessee Titans to a 26-9 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, ending their 11-game home losing streak.
